Mountain church Fex Crasta (Protestant)


Description
A simple hall building with a flat-roofed rectangular nave and a dome-vaulted apse. In the choir area, frescoes in the Northern Italian style date from 1511. According to the inscription, the gallery was added in 1665, and the ribbed ceiling above the nave also dates from the 17th century. A simple polygonal pulpit dates from 1721. A stained-glass window "Lamentation of Christ" by Ernst Rinderspacher, 1879–1949. A parapet organ on the gallery dates from 1981 (Felsberg Organ Builder). Note: The church guide, which is available in the church, can be purchased at the Sils Tourist Information Office for CHF 8.00.
