Museum Old Wood Sawmill Valens

The Alte Saege Valens Museum, restored by Valens Tourism, is a freely accessible witness to the timber industry of the last century. It offers insights into the history of the old sawmill throughout the year.
Description
In 1990 the saw was shut down by the owner Ferdinand Reiter Junior and in 2004/2005 it was restored by Valens Tourism, under the leadership of Kurt Wyrsch, and reopened to the public as a museum. The Old Saw Valens is freely accessible all year round and is an exciting contemporary witness of the timber industry of the last century.
