Description

The Pizol Glacier is a small remnant of a Kar glacier, just before its complete melting, where the annual changes in length have been measured since 1893. The Pizol Glacier, which is still about 400 metres long today, lies below the Pizol Peak and can be easily seen from the well-known 5-lake hiking route.
