Description
The Protestant church of San Rochus in Champfèr, built in 1521, is dedicated to the plague saint Rochus. The tower was financed by English guests in 1878, and a bell and benches come from the destroyed Nicolaj Church in Surlej. Renovated several times, the church impresses with its colored windows by the artist Ernst Rinderspacher. It is a listed building and has shaped the image of the village of Champfèr for over 500 years.
