The Peist village shop carries everything for daily needs: fresh products, hardware, drinks, animal feed, everything for the bathroom and household as well as local products such as eggs, honey, alpine cheese, meat, etc. It is recommended to order the bread by 11 a.m. the day before (Tel 081 374 12 49). The village shop also stocks inexpensive family products. The Prima village shop is supplied by Volg and local/regional producers.
The village shop has been successfully run by the village shop cooperative PEIST since 2014 and was able to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the shop in 2024 with a shop renovation.
