The first boulderers (boulder climbers) discovered the "Magic Wood" area in the municipality of Ferrera back in 1996. In 2004, this trend was taken up by the municipality and the "Magic Wood" area was rezoned as a bouldering zone.

Walk through the Upper Gate or the Red Gate into the medieval town surrounded by high walls. You will find historic buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries such as St. Margaret's Church with extraordinary depictions of death and life from the time just before the Reformation, the town hall or the Casa Gronda.
