In a climbing park in the Chur Rhine Valley, you learn the basics of rock climbing on well-secured routes. At the start, you do a quick equipment and partner check and discuss the course goals with the instructor. Then you practice essential outdoor skills such as climbing technique on easy terrain, proper belaying, and clean rope handling. You set up topropes and belay stations, integrate short rope maneuvers, and train abseiling and redirecting directly on the route.
