Description
You start your hike with the group from Flumserberg Tannenboden, heading up to the Maschgenkamm where the walk begins. The guide shows you the spots to spot the marmots. Their distinctive warning whistles are often heard from afar. Marmots are commonly seen around Flumserberg. Certified Geo Guide Sardona explains what makes this landscape so special and why it was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status. The hike ends at the Chrüz. From here, you can take the chairlift back down to the BergJet valley station. Alternatively, you can enjoy a thrilling ride on the Floomzer sledging run or walk back on foot. **Practical Information:** + Paid parking available at Tannenboden + With public transport (PT) from Chur: direct (or change in Walenstadt onto S4) to Unterterzen (Quarten). From Unterterzen, take the SeeJet cable car (located right at the station) for 20 minutes to Flumserberg Tannenboden. + From Sargans: Postauto bus 441 runs hourly directly to Flumserberg Tannenboden.
