Description
You travel with your group from Flumserberg Tannenboden up to the Maschgenkamm, where the hike begins. The guide shows you the spots where you can spot marmots. Their distinctive warning whistle is often heard from afar. Marmots are commonly seen on Flumserberg. The certified Geo Guide Sardona explains what makes this landscape so special and why it was designated a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. The hike ends at Chrüz. From here, you can return via the cable car to the BergJet valley station. Alternatively, you can choose the Floomzer toboggan run for a fast descent or walk back. **Practical information:** + Paid parking available at Tannenboden + By public transport (PT) from Chur: direct service (or transfer at Walenstadt onto the S4) to Unterterzen (Quarten). From Unterterzen, take the SeeJet cable car (directly at the station) for a 20-minute ride back to Flumserberg Tannenboden. + From Sargans: Postbus 441 runs hourly to Flumserberg Tannenboden.
