2-Tageskurs Tourenplanung für Berg- und Alpinwanderungen im Safiental

This course is aimed at (prospective) hiking or tour guides, but also at all other interested parties who want to refresh their orientation knowledge and deal in depth with the topic of tour planning. The focus in this course is on how we deal with last-minute changes in plans and unpredictable situations. In addition, we deal in depth with subjective and objective dangers in the terrain.

Day 1: The exact meeting point will be announced: approx. at 10:00 a.m. in Safiental (the meeting point will be coordinated with public transport). On the first day, the basics of map reading, orientation in the terrain and tour planning are applied. Both without digital aids (only with compass and map) but also with the common map apps. Through various practical exercises, the participants are given the opportunity to continuously apply, refresh and thus deepen their knowledge. In the afternoon, we will deal with the theoretical aspects of tour planning and in this context we will deal in depth with the risks of mountain hikes.

Day 2: On the second day, we deepen the basics we have learned on an application tour. In particular, we also focus on practicing spontaneous changes of plan in the field and dealing with unforeseen events. The course is expected to end at around 17:00 in Safiental (the end of the course will be coordinated with public transport).
