A forgotten treasure – The Engadin Press archive returns home
Since 1960, a large collection of old photographs from Graubünden had been lost in the basement of the Museum of Communication in Bern.

Now this treasure is returning home to the Fotostiftung Graubünden in Chur: 50,000 historical photographs from the former Engadin Press printing house in Samedan. These are mainly photographs from the Engadin around 1900. They offer new insights into the past: a glimpse behind the scenes of the emerging, glamorous tourism industry.
The film will be shown with German subtitles.
The event is open to the public and admission is free.
