Society reorganizes itself - without capital, surplus value, or money. Everyone is equal. Ranisch and Rupf enter the ring of many animal figures and demonstrate exemplarily how a new “together” emerges, where everything seems fine for everyone; for some, of course, a bit better, which not everyone knows. Orwell's novel carries the deliberately trivializing subtitle "A Fairy Tale." Yet fairy tales are not always pretty. They can also be brutal: wolves eat grandmothers, stepmothers murder daughters, witches end up in the oven. And what initially presents itself as a harmless children's story in Orwell's work turns out to be a hard-hitting, satirical indictment of totalitarian regimes.
