ÁRAMLÁS - in the flow: choR inteR kultuR (Chur/Zurich) meets Kecskeméti Fesztivál Kórus in the Hungarian town of Kecskemét, the lively birthplace of the world-famous music teacher Zoltán Kodály.
After performances in Hungary, both choirs return to Switzerland for concerts in Chur (18.10.25, 17:00 Martinskirche) and Zurich (17.10.25, 19:00). The folk music rehearsed and conducted by Francisco Santos with Katalin Kiss includes melodies from Romania, Hungary, Slovakia to Western Siberia (Kodály, Ligeti, Farkas and others) and from all language regions of Switzerland (Brunner, Antognini, Willisegger and others) – with a view to the deep connection between humanity and nature. Fortunat Frölich's world premiere of "nüvel cotschen" with Niklaus Badrutt's alphorn sounds brings back the reality of Graubünden.
