Art Exhibition Textile - Iron by Andrea Alig and Fis Guldimann in Trun

Andrea Alig (born 1955) is an artist from Graubünden with roots in Zurich.
She worked for many years as a specialist teacher for textile, technical and artistic design. The creative possibilities of expression with textiles, especially with hand-woven linen fabrics, have fascinated her since her training. In addition to working on textile works, she also created objects made of wood and plastic. For the first time, she exhibited works at the Senda d'art in Trun. Together with fis, she showed 31 metal birds in a meadow in Falera in 2014. At the group exhibition 2019 at the Hotel Schweizerhof in Flims, she presented her work "Socks". The work "Homage to the Women of the Five Valleys" was selected by the jury made up of members of Visarte Graubünden and Museum Sursilvan Cuort Ligia Grischa for the art exhibition GRAU and for the anniversary exhibition 2024 by the Grauer Bund at Museum Trun.

Fis Guldimann (born 1947) is an artist from Trun.
During his professional career, he worked with iron and steel. He usually uses these materials as an artist. Initially, he created works without presenting them publicly. Over the past 30 years, he has also made it accessible to a wide audience. Fi's iron sculptures can now be found all over Switzerland. At the center of his figures and sculptures is the human being and his life in all facets. Again and again he deals with heads. During the Corona pandemic, he formed a head every week from different materials.
