As different as the individual band members are, the music of the Lucerne band sounds varied: sounds that sometimes scratch like straw, sometimes reminiscent of velvety summer evenings. Herbaceous riffs and polyrhythmic gimmicks meet with dubby basslines and spherical sounds to form a common round dance in the midst of psychedelic soundscapes. As In Plastic plays with the expectations of the audience and surprises with hard contrasts, Swiss-German spoken word and thoughtful, fragile passages. The formation is a collective: creating together, finding each other, being in the moment. Music as an outlet to express emotions – what can we achieve together? United in the desire to make music together, pleasure as a political statement. Energy and hope for a better future.
