How has the climate in Graubünden developed over the past 500 years? When did the main wild animal species disappear and then reappear in the Graubünden area? What have been the maximum and minimum extent of our glaciers in the last 140 years? What development did cattle, goats, sheep and pig breeding have had in the Moesano area between 1906 and 2005? How has the exploitation of water resources evolved between 1700 and today? In the tourism sector, how many overnight stays in the main tourist resorts (including San Bernardino) in the years 1850, 1910, 1965, 2000?
These are just some of the many questions that the new Graubünden Atlas can answer. Published by the Institute for Research on Graubünden Culture, in collaboration with the Graubünden State Archives last year, coinciding with the commemoration of the Free State of the Three Leagues 1524-2024, it involved about fifty high-profile collaborators.
Both during the presentation and afterwards during the aperitif prepared by the association Testimonies local culture and will gladly answer your questions.
