Ausstellung “Winteratem” im Giger Atelier

The exhibition "Winteratem" presents works by the Swiss artist Anna Shesterikova in the Giger Atelier in Chur's old town. The portrait series "Children of the World" will be shown, in which boys and girls from different countries welcome winter in different ways. The exhibition is complemented by autumnal and winter landscapes characterized by light, silence and a special atmosphere of tranquility. Decorative floral motifs that look as if they are covered by a frosty veil are also part of it.

Anna Shesterikova is an artist, gallery owner and art teacher with many years of experience. She creates realistic portraits in which she sensitively conveys the inner states of the sitter. In her impressionist landscape paintings, she captures the play of light on snow, the vastness of the sky and the quiet poetry of the season.

The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the cyclical breath of nature and its fragile beauty.
