Bilderausstellung "Per la mia cara Mamma" von Claudio Casapulla

Claudio Casapulla was born in Rome in 1974. From the age of around 10, he lived in a foster family with his "cara Mamma" in Haldenstein. Various circumstances led to a life that is still not easy for him today. Since 1996, his painting and drawing have helped him to cope with this. In this way, he finds expression for pent-up, overpressure. When words fail, pictures speak. The right words are usually missing. The language of the pictures is his own, but it is one that hardly needs a translation.

The exhibited works are all small-format. These ink drawings usually depict confused figures. They are not alone, but rather in a confrontation with each other. The viewer gets an idea of what is going on here. A picture conveys something and is a form of communication in which disturbances are very much possible. By looking, we interpret what we see.
