Blue Deal – Blues-Rock from the Southern Black Forest

Since winning the German Blues Challenge 2023, Blue Deal has been considered one of the best blues acts in Germany. In 2024, the band represented their country with great success at the European Blues Challenge in Braga (Portugal) and the International Blues Challenge in Memphis (USA), where they reached the semi-finals.

Led by Tom Vela, one of the most outstanding guitarists of the "New Blues Generation", Blue Deal combines fresh energy with experience: Jürgen Schneckenburger, Willi Macht and Joe Fischer (formerly of the Cadillac Blues Band) are creating an innovative project that spans generations.

Their sound ranges from earthy roots blues to powerful rock – "pulsating grooves, strong guitar parts and a rough, versatile voice" (Blues Matters!, N°129). The songs tell stories from life and also critically address current topics.

With one USA and five Scotland tours, Blue Deal has proven that blues rock "Made in Germany" can hold its own internationally. After the acclaimed debut Holy Ground (2022), the second studio album Can't Kill Me Twice was released in May 2024 on the renowned label Dixiefrog - awarded the German Blues Award for the "Best Album 2024".
