Carte Blanche for Anton Kernjak

At the invitation of musicaAndeer, Anton Kernjak, a specialist in chamber music and professor at the Basel Music Academy, had a free hand to form a trio and put together a programme. With Katarina Leskovar on cello and clarinettist Miha Grmek Seražin, two gifted chamber musicians came together, who inspire from classical repertoire to contemporary music. Alexander Zemlinsky's rarely performed trio is a firework of sound between late Romanticism and modernism, complemented by a world premiere by the Swiss composer Morris Wolf and Beethoven's famous popular trio.
