Cinema Senios: "Die Vergesslichkeit der Eichhörnchen" in Ilanz

The 27-year-old Ukrainian Marija comes to Germany to take up a job as a domestic helper and caregiver. She is now there 24 hours a day for Curt, who suffers from dementia. Actually a normal job, if it weren't for Curt's daughter Almut, who turns out to be controlling and bossy. When the situation between the unequal women threatens to escalate, Almut suddenly just doesn't show up anymore. At the same time, Curt begins to believe that Marija is his deceased wife Marianne. Marija gets involved in the bizarre marriage role-play, as it makes everyday care easier for her. However, Curt's son Philipp is now coming to visit more and more often. He takes a liking to the nurse and seeks her closeness. Soon the situation grows over Marija's head.
