With their new album "Immer dur Nächt", Stahlberger prove their complexity, stylistic accuracy and a refreshing joy in musical experimentation. The band from St. Gallen, known for its unmistakable mix of dialect pop and avant-garde sounds, presents itself as a well-rehearsed collective over the years that has constantly developed without losing its roots.

The current songs take up central themes such as disappearance, searching and life on the margins. These motifs have already flashed up earlier in Manuel Stahlberger's texts, but here they find a new urgency. Melancholic and dystopian images meet driving, repetitive arrangements in which drums and bass play the leading role, while guitars and synthesizers in dark timbres shape the atmosphere.
