Davos Abendmusik - Orgel und Orchester

On Sunday, September 28 at 5 p.m., the 3rd concert will follow, where the focus will be on the concert of the organ with orchestra.

The program includes works by Georg Fr. Handel (Organ Concerto F – major op.4. No. 4), Johann Anton Reichenauer (Cello Concerto in G - minor), Felix Mendelssohn – Bartholdy (String Symphony No. 12 in G minor), Ulrich Weissert (improvisation on "Sollt ich meinem Gott nicht singen"), as well as Francis Poulenc (Concerto for Organ, String Orchestra and Timpani in G - minor). This work has become one of the few modern works for this instrumentation.

The performers are Cappella Vivace Rottweil, Ulrich Weissert (organ), and his son Cornelius Weissert, who is in charge.
