In this formation, the Swiss musician and composer Dominik Flückiger combines all his musical influences into an unmistakable sound universe. At the age of ten, he composed his first piece on the Schwyzerörgeli – inspired by music from all over the world. Over the years, he has created compositions and arrangements ranging from jazz to fusion to orchestral film music. All these influences are combined by the band name Kinimode as a play on words from his first name read backwards and "Mode" – a reference to his very own musical mode.

With its third programme – Alpine Jazzscapes – the trio dedicates itself to the musical roots of its habitat. Melodies of the Alpine region extracted from the archives of the Liechtenstein Pepi Frommelt Foundation become modern jazz compositions in the inimitable way of the three musicians. With respect for the origin of this music, but also for the freedom and self-confidence of contemporary artists, jazzscapes are created that touch and effortlessly transfer tradition into the present. The band does not shy away from any structures, no matter how complex, but always dresses them in highly refined lightness, sometimes also in haunting seriousness - but always characterized by an intense interplay, by listening carefully to the playing of others. Trimolon draws on the entire humus of music history and creates contemporary sound spaces that exude both deep immersion and grooving joie de vivre.
