Freeride Festival Flims Laax: Avalanche-Workshop Level Advanced

Turns & Learns Workshop: Do you already have some experience in open terrain and want to deepen your knowledge? This workshop dives straight into the essentials.

We’ll take an in-depth look at avalanche safety, including avalanche danger assessment, reduction methods, individual slope evaluation and tour planning. You’ll learn how to read avalanche bulletins like a pro and practise companion rescue techniques in detail.

This workshop is led by a certified mountain guide from Bergsportschule Grischa and is part of the Freeride Festival Flims Laax – Turns & Learns, an event that brings together deep powder, creativity and alpine adventure in a unique format.

Throughout the first week of March, riders, filmmakers and outdoor enthusiasts come together to celebrate the diversity of freeriding – with contests, workshops, a testival and inspiring encounters both on the mountain and in the valley.
