Freeride Festival Flims Laax: Freeride skiing led by a certified mountain guide
Description
Turns & Learns Freeride Workshop
Powder made easy – with lifts, short hikes and long runs. We’ll show you the best lines in Flims Laax and what matters when riding safely in open terrain. Line choice, terrain assessment, flow – and plenty of fun in the snow are the focus. You’ll be guided by a certified Swiss mountain guide.
Requirements: Confident off-piste riding skills
Equipment: Freeride skis with touring bindings or a splitboard, backpack with safety kit
This workshop is led by a mountain guide from Bergsportschule Grischa and is part of the Freeride Festival Flims Laax – Turns & Learns, an event that brings together deep powder, creativity and alpine adventure in a unique format. Throughout the first week of March, riders, filmmakers and outdoor enthusiasts come together to celebrate the diversity of freeriding – with contests, workshops, a testival and inspiring encounters both on the mountain and in the valley.
Goodies: A free festival pass for the Testival area (Sat/Sun, March 7–8) at the Freeride Base Nagens is included in the workshop price.
More information about the goodies, the workshop booking link and the latest event updates can be found on the event website.
