Freeride Festival Flims Laax: Individual Slope Assessment
Description
The mountain guides at Bergsportschule Grischa will show you how to correctly assess an individual slope and sharpen your sense for danger spots. You will learn what to look out for in the terrain: inclination, exposure, snow cover, tracks and typical warning signals.
The guides will explain to you step by step how to classify observations, realistically assess risks and make a clear decision - walk, avoid or turn around. In this way, you will develop a practical routine that will help you to travel safely and confidently, even in complex situations.
This Workshop is part of the Freeride Festival Flims Laax—an event that brings together deep powder, creativity, and alpine adventure in a unique format. Throughout the first week of March, riders, filmmakers, and outdoor enthusiasts come together to celebrate the diversity of freeriding, with contests, workshops, a testival, and inspiring encounters both on the mountain and in the valley.
