Freeride Festival Flims Laax: Individual Slope Assessment
Description
How do you make the right decision in freeride terrain?
Bergsportschule Grischa shows you how to assess a single slope and sharpen your awareness of potential danger zones. You’ll learn what really matters: slope angle, aspect, snowpack, tracks and typical warning signs.
Step by step, you’ll learn how to interpret your observations, realistically assess risks and turn them into clear decisions – go, avoid or turn back. This builds a practical routine that helps you stay safe and confident, even in complex situations. Join in and sharpen your decision-making skills for the mountains.
This talk is led by Bergsportschule Grischa and is part of the Freeride Festival Flims Laax – an event that brings together deep powder, creativity and alpine adventure in a unique format. During the first week of March, the freeride community gathers for contests, workshops, a testival and inspiring encounters – on the mountain and in the valley.
