An idea, a ray of light, a moment. Grab happiness by the scruff of the neck when it sparkles. According to an Appenzell legend, carbuncle is a gemstone, hidden in the Brüelbach, which can only be found if it is not sought. In this or similar way, a handful of songs have found their way to Gabriela Krapf in a "fabulous" way. With their fellow musicians, they had the opportunity to record these pieces in the form of a public recording session on SRF Kultur. In the Auditorium Studio Basel, an EP with six pieces and two video clips was created – live in front of an audience. As usual, in the field of tension between jazz and pop, this time with an increased focus on groove and improvisation.
