Event San Bernardino Mesolcina Calanca
Graffiti course

Description
The Moesano Museum Foundation is pleased to announce that registration is open for the adult course on the graffiti technique which will take place on Saturday 04 October 2025, from 1.30 pm to 6.00 pm, at the Moesano Museum in San Vittore.
Graffito, also known as sgraffito, is a type of wall decoration already known to the civilizations of ancient Rome and ancient Greece, then taken up and developed by the masters of the Italian Renaissance. It is achieved by removing layers of lime on the surface to reveal the still fresh colored plaster underneath.
Under the guidance of the restorer Marco Somaini, following traditional methods dating back to the sixteenth century, each participant will have the opportunity to create their own graffiti by composing a drawing at will or using examples selected for the course.
The course is aimed at those who are fairly familiar with drawing.
A video demonstration of graffiti making is available at the following link 04.10.2025 – Graffiti Course – Moesano Museum
