Der gute Mensch von Sezuan

On 24, 25 and 26.09.25, the theatre ensemble of the EMS Schiers will perform a new play: "The Good Person of Szechwan", a parable by Bertolt Brecht.
Under the direction of Ursina Hartmann, the students immerse themselves in Brecht's world. They face the timeless question of morality, humanity and self-interest in their very own way.
This parable can be understood as a scenic experiment, as a re-enactment of a model case: What happens if...?
Szechwan is an imaginary place, defined by no other regulations than: big city, slum and industry.
It is up to the audience to establish and recognize a connection to today.

More than twenty performers are on stage this year. Supported by a creative team of music, technology and equipment, a performance is created that not only makes acting skills, but also the enthusiasm and commitment of those involved visible.
