HIGH MEADOW
Buttery soft and silky smooth ballads, paired with a soulful female voice as well as powerful rocking songs are the program of HIGH MEADOW.
The band dedicates itself to blues rock, which can sometimes come across as really funky. Luchy funk rhythms with powerful power chords, accompanied by cool Hammond sound and rousing bass lines as well as a powerful rock voice and interesting drum sound characterize the band. HIGH MEADOW was founded at the end of 2017 and all members can look back on many years of band and stage experience and some of their paths have already crossed in previous bands and on other stages. Originally founded only as a cover band, the desire for their own songs grew and it didn't take long until it was put into practice. The result is a studio album with 11 original compositions, which was released in Swiss stores on February 5, 2021 and can also be downloaded on all digital platforms. The band is constantly developing new songs and these are performed again and again at the concerts.
The band's greatest success was at the Rock & Blues Nights 2019 in Gossau, St. Gallen. The newcomers at the time were able to prevail against twelve other bands in the run-up to the event and finally get a gig at the next Rock & Blues Nights on the main stage.
HIGH MEADOW, a wonderfully uncomplicated blues rock band, whose differentiated songs are popular with young and older listeners alike and must definitely be pursued.
