Ice skating on the Lej da Staz

The Lej da Staz lake is idyllically located between St. Moritz, Celerina and Pontresina in the middle of a wide, open clearing in the extensive Staz forest. While bathers frolic here in summer, in winter guests can enjoy a 400-meter-long circular track made of natural ice that is prepared daily. There is the option of renting ice skates on site. Both the preparation of the ice rink and the opening of the skate rental are dependent on the weather (too warm temperatures, poor visibility, strong wind or snowfall). The Lej da Staz cannot be reached by car. The walk from St. Moritz, Celerina or Pontresina takes around 30 minutes.
