Il futuro degli archivi storici comunali del Moesano

A project concerning the future of the regional historical archives will be presented.
The initiative illustrates the 2023 agreement with which the Municipality of Mesocco deposited its fund (period 1219-1799) at the Regional Archive in Marca. The approximately 1500 documents, while remaining municipal property, are now stored in an air-conditioned and safe environment. In the summer of the same year, the material was photographed, analyzed and entered into a database, making it available to scholars without the need to manipulate the originals. The technical and palaeographic work was carried out by Soraya Blacks and Janosch Schnider, funded by Mesocco and supervised by Christa Mazzolini, Luigi Corfù and Dante Peduzzi. The project represents a concrete operating model, potentially extendable to other municipalities in the Region.
