Informationsveranstaltung zum Projekt Audiovisuelles Kantonsinventar

Photos, sound recordings, films and videos – analogue or digital – are important testimonies to our past. They are often stored not only in archives, but also in private households. Since 2022, Memoriav, the Centre of Excellence for Switzerland's Audiovisual Heritage, has been compiling a nationwide inventory of audiovisual cultural heritage. Graubünden is actively involved in this project, building on cantonal preparatory work. The aim is to record audiovisual collections and document new ones – especially from private collections or associations.

The event will present the project and provide insight into the problems of preserving audiovisual media. A project by Memoriav and the Office of Culture of the Grisons.

Program:
- Introduction to the topic of audiovisual media in Graubünden
- Presentation of the "Cantonal Audiovisual Inventory" project and the online survey
- Short lecture on the identification and conservation measures of audiovisual media (films, videos, photos or sound recordings)
- Exchange and aperitif
