Janet Mueller. Unter die Haut

Raw, immediate, direct – the works of Janet Mueller (*1975) direct the gaze beneath the surface and meander through the jungle of human emotions. They oscillate between inner truths and external staging, between what lies beneath the skin and what we bring to the outside. In the courage to be vulnerable, the works unfold a fragile and at the same time liberating power.

The artist was born in the former GDR and has lived in Switzerland since 1999. As an autodidact, she found her way to art ten years ago. In her first solo museum exhibition, she invites the audience to immerse themselves in deep layers and swing into their own dreamscape on swings.
