KLANGRÄUME - Konzertchor St.Gallen

On 8 & 9 November 2025, the St. Gallen Concert Choir invites you to two concerts dedicated to the human voice. KLANGRÄUME is an a cappella programme that captivates with its stylistic diversity and emotional depth.

The repertoire spans a wide range from the Renaissance to contemporary a cappella works. An arc is spanned from Bruckner's"Christus factus est" to contemporary compositions by Ēriks Ešenvalds, such as "Northern Lights" and "Only in Sleep", to "Totus Tuus" by Górecki . Rarely heard pearls such as Rossini's"O salutaris Hostia", Verdi's"Ave Maria" and the modern work "Glitter" by Mijnssen, Wiener and Widrig complete the programme.

A special highlight is the sound installation with choir improvisation, in which the choir turns the room itself into an instrument and creates new listening experiences together with the audience.
