Konzert "Pirmin Huber Swiss Folk"

With "Pirmin Huber Swiss Folk", the idea was born in 2020 to present original compositions based on folk music components such as Jütze, Stümpeli, Schottisch both within and outside Switzerland and to amaze the audience with fascinating combinations of archaic Swiss folk music and groovy pop jazz.

Pirmin Huber is free in the basic instrumental composition with "Pirmin Huber Swiss Folk". At the center is Pirmin Huber with his double bass, from which he skillfully and with expressive joy of playing elicits earthy, archaic tones as well as groovy, innovative and unusual sounds.

For musicians with a background in folk music, impromptu playing is a familiar playing technique. Pirmin Huber skillfully uses this technique as a link with the double bass between archaic and innovative sound elements in his compositions. With "Pirmin Huber Swiss Folk", this allows him to build on a basic instrumentalization (double bass, piano, violin, drums), but also to enrich it as desired with Schwyzerörgeli, accordion, Büchel, yodel and other folk music instruments.
