In our cosy inn, we celebrate the old custom of butchery – a festival that is deeply rooted in rural tradition. Originally, the butcher's shop meant home slaughtering in autumn: when the animals had put on enough meat after the alpine summer and the cool temperatures promised shelf life, slaughtering took place on the farm. On this day, family, neighbors and friends came together to enjoy the freshly prepared specialties. Today we are reviving this custom - with a rich butcher's buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. The highlight of our butcher's shop is the meat from the alpine pig of Alp Platta. The animals spend the summer on lush mountain meadows, where they can feed naturally and move vigorously. This life in the fresh mountain air gives the meat a special quality and an unmistakable taste. With every bite you can taste the purity of the Alps - a real piece of regionality on your plate.

In addition, all guests are invited to take part in the butcher's competition! You can test your knowledge of butchery in a playful way.
