Event Viamala
Museumseröffnung "AMuG" durch die 5./6. Klasse Splügen
Description
The 5th/6th graders from the Rheinwald invite you to the ceremonial opening of their art and culture museum! As part of the school project "Archaeological Museum for the Present" (AMuG for short) of the University of Teacher Education of the Grisons, the students collected and researched old remains from their local environment. They present these as cultural assets in the historical exhibition. In a second part of the museum, the art exhibition, the children show exhibits that they have brought with them from their everyday lives and transformed artistically. In addition to the historical research and the artistic processes, they are also able to take responsibility for the museum furnishings, the opening ceremony and the museum tours themselves due to the exchange with experts.
The project is being implemented by the University of Teacher Education of the Grisons in cooperation with the 5th/6th grade of Splügen. In addition to numerous institutions and individuals, the Beverin Nature Park also supports the project, as the project promotes the continuation and reinterpretation of traditions, cultural and social exchange as well as multi-perspective thinking – a basis for the development of new solutions and sustainable development.
No registration required.
