Neujahrskonzert 2026 – Sinfonieorchester St.Gallen

We cordially invite!

The first concert in 2026 is intended to bring momentum and good mood for the whole year, so we celebrate it with sparkling lightness and festive elegance. Thanks to the strong-voiced support of soprano Kali Hardwick and tenor Riccardo Botta from the music theatre ensemble, this year's programme will take us into the world of opera and operetta with popular arias and duets – but of course waltzes, polkas and gallops by Johann Strauss and other masters of their craft will not be missing.

Michael Balke conducts this edition of the New Year's Concert of the St. Gallen Symphony Orchestra in the Tonhalle and in the Verrucano Mels, where the following Sunday will also say: "Happy New Year!"

With works by Johann Strauss, Emmerich Kálmán, Franz Lehár, Johannes Brahms, Jeanne Danglas, Charles Gounod, Gioachino Rossini and others.
