New Voices on the Block – Jelena Moser: «Risszeichen»

Ever since the gamekeeper tracked down an illegally shot deer, the sunken memories have been rippling up in her and not only you have been sweeping away.

In her manuscript "Risszeichen", Jelena Moser explores the fine fault lines of human relationships and the question of how much vulnerability an encounter can withstand. With precise language and atmospheric images, the text leads us through inner landscapes in which memories break open, silence weighs heavily and the invisible suddenly becomes palpable.

The reading offers a concentrated insight into this poetically condensed world – an evening between tension and silence.

Jelena Moser is a dairymaid and cultural worker. In her literary works, she negotiates questions of nature, perception and the invisible forces that shape relationships. Her projects include Ei vegnan a secalmar, a play with agricultural machinery, theatre projects with young people at the Junges Theater Graubünden and workshops on women's football at the FCZ Museum Zurich. Jelena Moser lives and works in Chur.
