New Year's event San Gottardo

The San Gottardo program is an economic development program for the benefit of the Surselva, the canton of Uri and the Bellinzona e Valli region. Our office is located in the monastery of Ilanz. In addition to their spiritual mission, monasteries are also part of the local economy. The Ilanz monastery is currently actively looking for a future-oriented direction for its buildings, including possible buyers. Numerous monasteries and parishes around the Gotthard are dealing with such issues.
The New Year's event will provide an opportunity to discuss these issues with:
- National Councillor Martin Candinas
- Dr. Urban Fink, Managing Director Domestic Mission
- Sr. Monika Hüppi, StV Prioress General of the Ilanz Dominican Sisters
to reflect on and discuss the future use of buildings owned by church institutions - also from an economic perspective. The event will be followed by an aperitif.
