Orgelmusik bei Kerzenlicht Advent 2025, Sonja Betten, Orgel

Sonja Betten is currently an organist in the Catholic parishes of Stansstad,
Obbürgen, Kehrsiten (Nidwalden). As a freelancer, she plays organ concerts in the
Domestic and international (D, CH, AT, FL, FIN).
Sonja Betten opens her concert with J.S. Bach's Prelude and Fugue in G major BWV 541.
Based on works by Dietrich Buxtehude (Toccata in D minor, BuxWV 155), Nicolaus Bruhns
(Chorale Fantasy "Nun komm der Heiden Heiland"), William Byrd (Fantasia in A minor BK 13)
and Franz Danksagmüller (A Fancy) will open the concert with the great Sonata VI.
"Our Father in the Kingdom of Heaven" by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy.
