Philipp Fankhauser auf Something Tour

Philipp Fankhauser's new album "Ain't That Something" inspires. Listening to it has never been as worthwhile as it is with this album. Not that his previous albums were free of surprises, but now it's coming pretty thick! To claim that it's "just" a blues album wouldn't be wrong, but it wouldn't be the whole truth either. The band swings back and forth between country, gospel, R&B, zydeco, blues and French chanson seemingly effortlessly. Always in the typical Fankhauser sound, with a good portion of soul, impressive authenticity and an independence that is unparalleled in this country. Handmade, authentic music and lyrics that animate you to dream. On the "Something Tour", Fankhauser will be accompanied by his five traditional musicians. Seeing the six men on stage is just fun.
