The music composed especially for the film by Robert Israel gives the images new liveliness and charm. The famous scene at the high-rise clock is one of the milestones in film history. The turbulent plot of a young man who grows beyond himself out of love and ambition - in the truest sense of the word - continues to inspire today with speed, wit and breathtaking stunts.
