Schweizer Wandernacht in Vella

The evening hike from the Triel middle station first takes us up to Péz Plauncas. While the sun disappears on the horizon, we follow the degree and enjoy the fantastic view. With a bit of luck we might spot some chamois. At Hitzeggen we take a short break to enjoy the fresh mountain air and the tranquility of nature. The descent to the Trutg da Stiarls fireplace takes us through a picturesque landscape of tuff stones. Once there, a small culinary surprise awaits us - perfect to recharge our batteries. Strengthened, we continue our way, past the small mountain lake that glistens in the moonlight. Shortly afterwards, filled with the impressions of the evening and the beauty of nature, we reach the starting point in Triel.

Time: 5.30 pm - approx. 11.00 pm, pure hiking time 3.5 hours

Ascent and descent: approx. 550 metres

Requirements: surefootedness, a head for heights

Meeting point: Triel middle station

Cost: CHF 28.00 per person incl. small refreshments

Participants: from 3 people to max. 7 people, minimum age 12 years

What to bring: Good hiking boots, provisions, rain gear, possibly hiking poles

Participants who arrive by public transport can register in advance at the information office for transport to Triel.
