What is Shared Reading? A moderator prepares a short story and a suitable poem. These are researched together, views are expressed and, if necessary, life experiences are exchanged. It is said that with every reader a story is rewritten. That's exactly what Shared Reading is all about. Thoughts can arise and be discarded while talking. Everything is right, nothing is wrong. Not having to be right, being able to leave other opinions standing, that's very liberating. You can just sit quietly, you don't have to say anything if you don't like it. Because even those who "only" listen are already part of it. Participation is free of charge, literary knowledge is not necessary for Shared Reading.
