Sonderausstellung: Wir Frauen - "Nus fagein e basta!" in Ilanz

The exhibition makes visible what often remains invisible - and follows the threads of female history in the fabric of everyday life. She picks up where women in politics, volunteer work, education, upbringing, religion, society and culture pull the strings - and also asks self-critically: What material are everyday heroines actually made of?

From 02.01 – 31.03.2026, the museum will be open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Closed on Mondays.
Open to the public is the special exhibition: wir Frauen – Nus fagein e basta! on the first floor and the crystal cellar on the ground floor. The remaining floors will remain closed until the opening of the new permanent exhibition on 14 June 2026 due to renovation work
We are also happy to carry out the Memory Tour for school classes in the Ilanzer Städtli and guided tours of the current special exhibition outside opening hours on request.
