In the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tectonic Arena Sardona
on the road in a wide variety of geological eras
you will learn the background to the history of the formation of the Alps.

Program:
We meet in Flums at the train station and from there take a taxi and cable car to the Wildenberg.
Our hike takes us to the Walachamm and then lonely over the Oxni over to the cozy SAC Spitzmeilenhütte, where we spend the night.
Freshly strengthened, we cross the Wissmeilen Pass. From here, the route leads in a direct line over the Gipsgrat, Teufgrat and Guldergrat up to the Gulderstock and then over the Sunnehörnli into the Weissenberge and down into the valley by train.

Requirements:
T3 and T4; sporty mountain hike at a pace adapted to the participants. In between, we always take time for geological insights; Fitness for 7-8 hours hiking time incl. breaks
Day 1: Distance 17 km / Ascent 1300 m / Descent 700 m
Day 2: Distance 15 km / ascent 900 m / descent 1,700 m
