Swiss Skateboard Open

The Swiss Skateboard Open (SSO) is the largest skateboard contest series in Switzerland with stops in Zurich, St. Gallen, Geneva, Winterthur (Swiss Championship Street) and Laax (Swiss Championship Park).

The aim of the SSO is to promote skateboarding as a recognised sport while preserving its core values such as creative freedom, "by skateboarders for skateboarders" and "good times before competition" mentality. The SSO contest series is designed to support Swiss skateboard athletes of all genders equally, cater to the skills and needs of athletes of all ages and help recognise and nurture existing and new talent. The SSO provides a platform for social exchange, promotes social values and skills and serves as an inspiration for spectators such as families and children to get involved in a new sport and lifestyle.

The SSO, hosted in partnership with Swiss Skateboard (Swiss Olympic Partner), is presented by doodah, Certo and Red Bull.
