Tereza, 77, has spent her whole life in a small industrial town in the Amazon until one day she receives an official government order to move to a retirement home. This colony is a secluded place where the elderly are brought to "enjoy" their last years, while the younger generation can fully focus on productivity and growth. But Tereza refuses to accept this imposed fate. Instead, she embarks on a transformative journey through the rivers and tributaries of the Amazon to fulfill a last wish.
